My little cousin, Reycel, came over for a bit today. She had some fun with my camera and my big foot slippers. :p

First day back home in Lakewood. I didn't take a photo, although I supposed I should have taken one of my neighborhood. Now I can do so for future posts!

Instead, here are photos of the UC Berkeley Women's Table Tennis Team members who went to the nationals in Minnesota! Pictured are Carolin, Vega, and I.

One of the biggest things I'm gonna miss about UC Berkeley is the Cal Table Tennis Club/Team. I have never been so involved in a club before, and it was indeed a lot of fun! Made lots of friends, lots of memories, and a good time was had.

Today was crazy clean up day seeing as our final walk-through for our apartment is tomorrow. Has to be clear and empty! Therefore, no specific photo for the day (although I wish I took a shot of the cleaning process). Here is a photo of the Campanile that I took yesterday; the last photo of the Campanile that I took in my four years at Berkeley.

(1) Hubert and I. (2) Brian and I. (3) My cousin, Clement, in the green jacket standing with his hands up. To the right of him are my cousin, Ryan (featured in the previous few posts), and my parents. (4) Frank and Paolo. (5) View of the stage from my seat. (6) Hubert and I again. (7) James, Brian, Ryan Hsu, and I after commencement; ping pong crew photo! Haha. (8) My cousin, Ryan, holding my dad's tripod; my mom's behind him.

Today was the College of Engineering Commencement! Four years worth of hard work finally paid off. :) These are just the pictures I had on my camera; my dad has more pictures from this day. It was held at the Greek Theater from 8:30 AM to 12:00 Noon. Started so early! The first speaker, Yu Tu, was pretty entertaining. Hooding the PhD candidates took forever, though, and was very, very boring.

Good job COE Class of 2009! We made it!

Due to the crazy rush of moving out of my apartment and preparing for graduation (tomorrow), I once again do not have a photo for today. However, here is another photo from the family trip mentioned in the previous two posts. This is a plush toy of a pink poop! My aunt bought it for me at a Chinese gift shop in Toronto, Canada. I have a strange obsession with cute asian poop things (keychains, phone charms, plush toys, etc.). My aunt caught me admiring this plush toy and later bought it and surprised me with it! Ah, pink poop!

As you can see, my cousin, Ryan, and I had tons of fun playing with my pink poop and his accessories in our hotel room!

Yes, I also did not have a photo for this day. Here are photos of my cousin, Ryan, and I showing off our Chinese pride with a flag we bought for $1 at a store in Toronto, Canada's Chinatown. This was taken during the same trip mentioned in the previous post. :p We love acting silly.

I unfortunately have no photo for this day. Instead, I would like to introduce you to my cousin, Ryan Ngai. He is 3 years younger than I (he's currently 19). Here is a photo of us taken last summer during our family trip to the East Coast. In the photo, we are in Virginia in a car outside our aunt's house. This photo was taken on July 22, 2008.

This is James and Tiff. Ryan, James, Tiff, and I went to Cheesecake Factory in Walnut Creek because our original ice skating plan failed since the rink wasn't open for open ice skating at the time. :(

I noticed this sign inside King Pin Donuts at the Asian Ghetto, and I thought it was so funny that I just had to take a picture of it: "King Pin Donuts Gratifies the Soul."

With an Algorithms (CS170) final the next day (second photo shows my textbook), studying must be done! Pictured are Tiffiny, James, and Ryan. Following the long study session at the Kresge Engineering Library, Ryan and I joined the guys (John, Wesker, and Lan) for a reunion/goodbye dinner at a Szechuan restaurant in El Cerrito (where the 99 Ranch market is). Yummy spicy food!

This is Ryan and his project partner, Sandy. They worked together on that skateboard for a mechanical engineering class (ME 128, I think). I also made their project website for them!

This right here is my pencil case, featuring "Xiao Ding Dong," better known as Doraemon. To Chinese people, however, he is known as "Xiao Ding Dong." I had to resort to using this pencil case because my nice, small, sleek black one broke last semester. Now I look like a super asian child. :(

I used to watch Ding Dong cartoons back in Hong Kong when I was but a little wee child - 1-3 years old. I had always wanted a Ding Dong plush toy when I was in Hong Kong, but I never got one. :( To this day, I still want one!

I had lunch at Barney's Gourmet Burgers (on Cedar and Shattuck) today with my friend, Korina. She went to the same high school as I did. It's always a pleasure hanging out with her, chatting, and catching up. :) SHe is definitely one of the nicest people I know. After lunch, we went back to her apartment, where I cut her hair -- I gave her bangs! I think it's pretty cute! Didn't take a picture of it though. :/

Yogurtland recently opened across campus on Bancroft, near Telegraph! (It's beside Jamba Juice.) I've been to several in Southern California and it's awesome that they opened one up here. I love how you can choose your own flavors and add your own toppings, then they charge you by weight! My favorite topping is mochi. :)

Today was the last day of classes of the semester. For me, it was the last day of classes of my college career since I'm graduating. Scary thought. Anyway, future anxieties aside, I now have more free time (seeing as I only have one final!), therefore this translates to Taiwanese drama time! I'm currently watching Miss No Good (不良笑花), starring Rainie Yang and Will Pan. Rainie Yang's character is rather annoying in this show, but the plotline sounds intriguing, so it's gotten me hooked enough. :p

The FAST (Fashion and Student Trends club @ UC Berkeley) fashion show was tonight. As always, I had a great time seeing all the designs. Many thanks to Grace Chow, one of the designers, for my V.I.P. seat! :)

Paul's collection, as usual, finished the show with a bang. This was Paul's 3rd and final FAST show. His designs were so shocking to the audience; it was a lot of fun seeing their reactions to his crazy stuff. The reaction from the audience at this last piece (pictured here), modeled by Norm, was especially amusing.

Today was my lola's 90th birthday banquet! (By the way, "lola" means "grandma" in Tagalog [Filipino language]) Pictured here from left to right is my cousin, Mae, Lola, and me. It was held in a private banquet room at a Korean restaurant called Garden Buffet in Cerritos (or is their address technically still Lakewood?). There were about 65 people in attendance. The food was yummy too! My dad's band played some songs for the first half of the evening, then there was some dancing, and karaoke at the end. It was pretty fun! I hope Lola had fun too! May she have many more happy and healthy years to come! I love my lola. :)

I'm in Southern California right now, at home in Lakewood! Tomorrow is my Grandma's 90th birthday celebration, so I flew down from Berkeley. Anyway, that's besides the point of this entry. The point is: my cousins, Josephine and Ryan (cousin, not Hsu) from my dad's side were here at my house last weekend because Ryan was visiting colleges with his parents. He's a college junior and he'll be transferring in the fall. Josephine and Ryan apparently left me this present on my mirror. What a lovely work of art!

I got a brand-spankin' new ID. Well, it's a new card, but the picture is 4 years old -- from freshman year. My old ID was pretty worn out; faded picture and scratched up barcode, thus making it very difficult to scan immediately. I was planning on getting a new one before graduation anyway so I could have a nice ID to keep as a souvenir of my years at UC Berkeley. :]

While walking home on oxford (the front of campus), I saw this written on the floor. I guess the theme for the past two days is graffiti. Anyway, I thought this was a rather nice message, and I actually like how it's written on the ground, visible to the public eye.

So while walking after table tennis at the RSF today, I saw a muffin graffitied on the wall of this sports store on Bancroft and Ellsworth (I think it was Ellsworth), and I immediately laughed. It's a pretty funny thought -- graffiti-ing a muffin on a wall. Anyway, I just couldn't resist taking a photo of it, except I had forgotten my camera at home! I figured my cell phone camera would have to do and took two shots. Crappy photo quality aside, isn't this a funny sight?

I went to Costco today. It's crazy how cheap their food is. You can get a whole pizza for only $10. Mmmm... By the way, I also love photos with angles, in case that wasn't evident.

This is Court C in the Field House at the RSF (Recreational Sports Facility). We usually have table tennis practice here (for the club), and this is also where they place the tables for open rec practice.

Continuing from the previous post, this photo is also from that bowling event during spring break. Pictured here are the final results for our little girls versus boys bowling night. I'm at the top, labeled 'D'.

This photo was taken over spring break at Cal Bowl in Lakewood (my home town!). As I have mentioned before, I love photos with depth, and that was the reason behind this photo.
